Tourism Together

July 14, 2026 @ 10:30 am - 3:30 pm

This is an event aimed at bringing anyone who works in the tourism industry together to promote what we offer to visitors via the Friends of the Setttle Carlisle line and in particular at Ribblehead. We’ll be encouraging you to bring any relevant literature and hope that you will be willing to leave it with us to display and promote what is in the area.

There will be two networking sessions that businesses/individuals can book on – 10.30am and 2.30pm and in between there is a guided walk and talk down to the viaduct to showcase what we offer delivered by one of our on train guides (12.30).

This is a free event but numbers are limited so people need to BOOK using the email enquiries@settlecarlisletrust.org.uk

Guided Walks

Our free guided walks date back to the earliest FoSCL campaign aimed at preventing closure of the Settle–Carlisle train line, and offer a chance to explore the area, and discover a less well-beaten path with others.
