Nestled in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales, at the foot of Ingleborough, with a stunning view of Penyghent, Horton in Ribblesdale Station Café Bar is the perfect place to stop and recharge. Whether you are midway through your three peaks challenge, at the end of a long day’s walking or just looking to warm up before your train. Serving a wide-ranging menu including hot breakfast rolls, light lunches, coffee, scones, cake and of course Yorkshire Tea, our friendly team of volunteers are ready to welcome you. A joint venture between the wider Settle to Carlisle family and the Friends of the Settle Carlisle Railway. The Café Bar is available to interested groups for small meetings, social gatherings and other events. If you have an event in mind, please get in touch with the team who will help you. Just a stone’s throw from the world-famous Ribblehead viaduct, our Tearoom and Visitor Centre brings the remarkable story of its construction to life – from the thousands of navvies who built it, to the challenges they faced.
Explore the exhibition and take a stroll down to the remarkable structure itself set in beautiful and wild dales landscape. Also on the doorstep is Wild Ingleborough – one of the Kings Series of Nature Reserves and a fascinating place for a stroll behind this extraordinary structure.
