Points of Interest:

• It is the home of Ruswarp: a bronze statue of a Boader Collie stands on the southbound platform. Unveiled in 2009 it commemorates the loyal dog and his owner Grahame Nuttall who were key figures in the Settle-Carlisle 1980 campaign to save the line. As a fee-paying passenger Ruswarp signed the petition with a paw print.
• The historic market town of Hawes is 6.5 miles away is the highest market town in England. Why not ride the Little White Bus to visit this lovely Wensleydale town which is situated near the Pennine Way. Home of Wensleydale Creamery, Gayle Mill: a restored 19th Century saw mill, Hardwar Force and Dales countryside museum.
